Hours are by appointment. Please call ahead to make sure flowers are blooming (they are wild), and to confirm there are no private events scheduled; we do not allow U-Picks during event hours.
Why 5:00 - 8:00? It's all about the flowers. Some of the best times to pick flowers are in the cooler afternoon/evening hours; flowers don't do well if picked in the heat of the day. This is also the favorite time for deer to visit the meadow, so if you’re lucky you may get to see some whitetail.
Why not morning hours? As a working farm we are busy in the mornings. We can give more attention to customers and maintain better safety by having late afternoon and evening hours for the U-Pick.
Our wildflower area is mowed in concentric circles to make it easier to walk through and collect flowers. You won’t have to walk through waist high grasses (or head high grasses for little ones!) to collect flowers.
We hope to see you soon!
Join Our Community of
Safety Minded Visitors
Because a farm is a farm and not a playground,
you will need to become part of our safety minded visitors group, and sign a waiver to participate in our U-Pick. The waiver is a simple acknowledgement you understand and accept the inherent risks of being on a farm.
People have different expectations of what it means to be on a farm. Farms are working spaces with all kinds of insects, spiders, bugs, snakes and animals. The ground is often uneven or can have ruts and holes. Farms also have lots of equipment and materials/supplies that need to be handled carefully.
Please be sure to read our
General Farm Rules and
our “B” Rules. This will
help ensure your safety during your visit.
Thank you for being part of our safe community.
We do NOT have any restrooms available for guests.
enjoy the field.
Wonder at the beauty of the flowers.
Laugh. Pick them.
Feel the softness of each petal.
Smell the flowers.
Take some pictures.

Sustainable practices include letting native wild flowers grow naturally. We do not water, fertilize, or tend to the wildflowers. They really are wild. We have supplemented the area with collected wildflower seeds, so that there is a more lush array of flowers than in our open meadow.
We also up-cycle metal cans. Rather than giving you a plastic cup to collect flowers, which will end up in a landfill, we use upcycled metal cans. Your flowers will stay hydrated while you cut AND for your ride home. The cans can be recycled or brought back to the farm to be reused.
(The cans are thoroughly cleaned before each use.)
